Street art scenes of Roma and Condesa: colorful and artistic culture will enrich your historical knowledge and provide you with the refreshing experience.
Blue House: travel through a fiesta boat ride from Xochimilco to the iconic Blue House of Frida Kahlo to visualize the Mexican folk art and the tremendous artwork of the Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo.
Sun and Moon Temples: hot air balloon ride to these temples will help you to see the ecstatic scenes of sunrise and sunset over prehistoric Aztec temples.

Mexico is a multicultural city and you will find people in different attires. The people mostly wear casual and easy to wear dresses. Some of the men wear funky printed shirts with black jeans and few women wear blouse with linen pants while majority is seen jeans and tee-shirts.
The fashion is slightly different in neighboring regions like Condesa, Chiapas Roma and Oaxaca where people are much wealthier so they wear trendy formal dresses.

The good news is that you can wear the dress of your choice in the Mexico City until it is according to the weather. Therefore, it is highly recommended to check the weather forecast before leaving for Mexico.

Humidity also changes with season and rainy season lasts from June to October whereas dry season exists from November to May.
You may feel chilly during the morning and sweaty in the day time throughout the year, so pack your bag accordingly.

Sunblock: it is advisable to use sunblock to protect your skin from UV radiations.
Hat: Always keep a hat in your bag to avoid glaring sun.
Umbrella: it is the best thing that would help you in both sun and rain, so always carry one.
Sunglasses: sun glasses are good to avoid the excessive sun light and as it takes minimal space so its better to have it.
Water bottle: its important to stay hydrated so always take water with you.

Rain usually happens in the mornings and evenings and lasts for just one or two hours and the sky is clear for the rest of the day. It is important to pack an umbrella or a rain jacket.
I would prefer umbrella because it is usually light weight and can easily fit in the bag and you do not feel sticky in it. You can also spend the rainy time in some shop or a café.

Button up shirt: these shirts are good for layering and you can easily remove when required.
Sun shirt: an ultraviolet protection factor (UPF) shirt is a must if you have to stay in the sun such as on the beach.
Sweat shirt: it will protect you from sudden chills of the airconditioned places.
Basic tees: these are good for lighter weather both in morning and afternoon.
Shorts: easy to wear and good for warmer days.
Jeans: in order to have a comfortable journey, you must have one or two pairs of jeans.

Jeans: in order to have a comfortable journey, you must have one or two pairs of jeans.
Shorts: shorts are not must but if you like wearing, you may have these.
Flowy pants: these will protect you from chills and ultraviolet (UV) rays of sun.
Travel shoes for Mexico Trip
I prefer comfortable and easy to wear shoes while traveling. Based on my experience, I would suggest you to wear comfy sandals for walking and a pair of sneakers or joggers for hiking.
However, there is no hard and fast rule about the footwear and you may select according to your budget and needs but let me tell you one thing that I always prefer Birkenstocks over other brands.
Best Things to do in Mexico City
Day trip to Xochimilco and Frida Kahlo: Xochimilco and Frida Kahlo’s famous Casa Azul are my favorite spots at Mexico City and I would highly recommend you to visit these places.
Centro Historico: If you are visiting Mexico City and you have not explored the historical downtown, then I must say that your trip is incomplete. So, must try to manage your time for the Centro Historico.
Visit to Sun and Moon Temples at Teotihuacan: I must say that hot air balloon ride at these temples is my favorite thing to do in Mexico City so, I would suggest you to also try it and do not miss the fun.
Condesa and Roma day trip: I have really enjoyed my visit to Condesa and Roma and I met many foreigners at Roma and Condensa that were so happy to be there!
Day trip to Chapultepec Castle and Museum: Other important places to explore include Anthropology Museum and Chapultepec Castle that provide the real insight of the Mexican history.

The best beaches to visit near Mexico City
Once you have completed your visit of Mexico City you can easily move to various beaches via Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez airport and capture unforgetable memories and post on social media with charming captions.
Puerto Escondido:
It is a beautiful place with various activities like surfing and boating and you will definitely enjoy it in the mild weather.
La Paz:
Here lies the most marvelous beach of the Mexico that us to Playa Balandra, and I would highly recommend you to visit this place for a life time experience.
Cozumel:
It is a beautiful tropical island that is located near Playa del Carmen. Although, I have not visited this place yet, but it is in my wish list as I have heard a lot about this place.
Puerto Vallarta:
It is also a great place to visit if you are fond of the waterfalls. The view will definitely mesmerize you!
The transportation facility at Mexico City
Taxi, Uber and Didi: Taxi and Uber are good choices to travel to and from the airport. The new application (Didi) is also common in Mexico these days that provides safe travels at a reasonable price.
Walking: If you are interested to closely observe the culture and beauty of the nearby places such as Condesa, Coyoacan, and Roma Norte, you may do it by slow walking. It will provide you with an unforgettable experience.
Bikes and electric buses: Eco-friendly initiatives such as bike-sharing programs and electric buses are also common and I would highly recommend those, because these are both cheap and luxiorious.
Metro system has also provided a reliable and efficient way to travel throughout the city.
