Los Angeles (LA)  holds a diverse community and multiple good places for food and fun. As a coffee lover, I always try to find good places to sit down and grab some coffee.

Cafe 2001 

It was opened by British chef Giles Clark and Kino Kaetsu in Feb 2025 at the backside of YESS restaurant. It is relatively a new cafe but attracted the attention of visitors due to its beautiful Victorian architecture and unique blend of European and Japanese cuisine. 

I really enjoyed being there and I would recommend trying the coffee, fruit tart and beverages here. Moreover, the Japanese sandwiches and eggs along with mayonnaise and tuna are also the best. The classical music played in the background adds to the charm as well. 

Night time is the best to visit cafe 2001 because at night they serve pan-fried gyoza, oysters and hotdogs as well.

Canyon Coffee

It is located in Echo park and was opened in 2022. They have various good flavors and the best one is pistachio matcha latte. Try their toasts and pasteris along with the coffee and you will feel awesome. 

It is a very busy place especially on weekends so try to visit on weekdays. The cafe is trendy and people coming here are stylish and versatile.

Hot drinks served in the ceramic mugs enhance the pleasure.

Roseland Cafe

This small and mobile cafe is run by a single man named Gerancio in West Adam LA. Try delicious coffee here and also support the local business. It has a variety of options such as  espresso shots, iced coffee, hot chocolate, and frappuccinos.

To increase the taste of coffee also try its tamales and muffins.

Cafe Telegrama

It is the best choice for coffee and pancake lovers. Apart from this, it offers a variety of options like tea, savory sandwiches, pastries and scrambled eggs. Blueberry ricotta pancake is really yummy, moreover, vanilla latte and salads are also good choices.

It is really hard to get parking here so, try to find the parking area near it. Dining in is also difficult due to limited availability of seats but outdoor options are also available.

Cafe Nido: Coffee & Books

Cafe Nido is different from other coffee houses and restaurants because you will feel like home here. It feels like a community that is closely related in a beautiful lush green house. It is one of my favorite places in Silver Lake.

A mobile book van is also present here to enjoy the coffee and books together. They have a great choice of music as well to cherish your aesthetic sense. 

The best food items include croissants, fresh coconuts, coffee, and pastries.

La Colombe

It is located in the Frogtown that is one of the beautiful neighboring towns of LA. I grab coffee from here and walk along the riverside to enjoy the beautiful place. Every sip of coffee adds to the beauty of the place. Capture the memories here with family and post on social media with these catchy captions.

Their pastries are also very good but the best thing is its location that allows you to watch the river and wildlife.

Mandarin Coffee

This cafe is special in a way that it is present within the Burlington Arcade which is the copy of the famous Burlington Arcade of London. It focuses on the Chinese traditional coffee which uses the beans from Yunnan. It is a unique and flavorful coffee destination that is why it always remains full and you can hardly find a table here. 

The main drinks include lime water, latte flavored coffee with osmanthus flower, pineapple espresso tonic, Chinese crystal sugar, tonic water.” The most popular coffee flavors are; Vienna Latte, Gui Hua Latte, and Mandarin Matcha Latte.

The cafe is becoming increasingly popular so the owners plan to open a new branch with wider space.
